How to play

Two players share this screen: a student and a teacher. Choose names, avatars and a note range, then start. The student goes first. Each correct note earns one point; the first player to 7 wins.

Each turn has one guess. A wrong answer or a timeout earns no point and ends the turn. The answer is revealed, then the next player presses Ready to see their own note. Their hidden clock starts when the note appears.

Students get a random 5–10 seconds per turn. Teachers get a random 3–6 seconds. You can change those ranges in Timing & sound settings before a match. There is no countdown or time bonus.

Treble: C4–F5. Bass: G2–C4. Grand Staff: A1–E6, with up to three ledger lines above treble and below bass. All the notes adds sharps and flats to that same range.

In All the notes, choose Flat, Natural or Sharp first, then click the letter to submit. You can also use Left for flat, Down for natural, Right for sharp, and A–G for the letter. Read the spelling shown: C-sharp is answered as C + Sharp. You never need to guess the octave.

Pause covers the note and freezes its timer. Switching tabs also pauses; press Resume when you return. Names, avatars, mode and timer settings stay on this browser for your next visit.
